About
Teaching the Community Since 1952
More than seven decades of community skating, exceptional coaching, and skaters who go on to compete at the highest levels.
Over Seven Decades on the Ice
The Leaside Skating Club has been part of the fabric of this community since 1952. What started as a small neighbourhood club at Leaside Memorial Community Gardens has grown into one of Toronto's most respected community skating programs, offering everything from first steps on the ice to national-level competitive synchronized skating.
Our programs follow Skate Canada's national pathway, ensuring every skater — from the youngest beginner to the most competitive athlete — benefits from structured, certified instruction. All Leaside coaches hold NCCP certification through Skate Canada.
We are proud to be the home club of Meraki Synchronized Skating Teams, one of Ontario's leading synchronized skating programs, with four competitive teams from entry to National level.
Our Mission
The Leaside Skating Club is a community skating club that supports skaters of all ages and abilities in realizing their skating goals by providing quality coaching, programming, and leadership.
